Wordsmyth Theater is now accepting submissions for their 2015 New Play Reading Series. We are looking for full lengths and one acts.
There will six plays read thought the year. One slot will be reserved for a Houston playwright; another for a bilingual play (English/any other language.)
Plays should:
- Never have been produced
- Never have had a public reading in the Houston, TX area
- be 40 minutes or longer
- be 40 pages or longer
- Be a blind submission (i.e., no playwright identifiers anywhere on the script)
- be accompanied by a separate folder with playwright’s contact info
- be in pdf
- be received by July 3, 2014
- No one person-plays, musicals or children’s plays are accepted
- Only one play per playwright accepted.
